The Saleen Focus was a thing. I knew someone who sold cars at a Ford dealer in the mid-2000s. They got one of those and it sat on the lot over a year before it sold.

That thing is barbaric ... I drove a similar car in the 80s (a friend’s) and it was just awful. And they want 30 grand. Meh - worth 5 grand at best. In my opinion, humble or not.

The Saleen N2O Focus is neat . It came with N2O, you just needed to fill the bottle. It cost $30,853 new, and you could get Saleen Extreme Rainbow paint for another $16,000 on top of the $30k. Who in the right mind would pay $46,000 for a Ford Focus 12 years ago.

Ha! I woulnd’t give two bits for it, but I’d drive it around. Probably under-powered and under-steering and poor brakes.
